Dr. Bailey H. Eagan is a PhD graduate in Applied Animal Biology from the University of British Columbia, where she also completed her MSc. Her research focuses on understanding and improving companion animal welfare through applied animal behaviour science and data-driven approaches. Dr. Eagan’s work includes investigating medical and behavioural interventions to improve cat and dog welfare, integrating technology and data science in animal welfare research, studying the impacts of sound on animals, and exploring ways to enhance the environmental sustainability of pet ownership.
I welcome discussion and collaboration with others in any field seeking to improve animal welfare.
